Katie Riley is an award-winning journalist whose work has appeared in numerous national and international publications, including USA Today, BBC, Condé Nast Traveler, Wanderlust, The Times, Matador Network, Apartment Therapy, Luxe Recess and Coastal Style. She writes about travel, food and beverage, lifestyle and design. Her fiction has been twice-nominated for the Best New American Voices series and she is a two time winner of the Best Travel Writing award from the National Association for Parenting in Media. Katie has a bachelor's degree in English and Theatre from Dickinson College and an M.A. in Writing from The Johns Hopkins University. She resides in Annapolis, Maryland, where she enjoys exploring the Chesapeake Bay, a frequent topic of her writing.
